School IT Allowlist & Network Guidance

EasyEval is a teacher observation and evaluation platform used by administrators. It is not intended for student use. If your network filter blocks EasyEval, the steps below will restore access.

Wildcard (if needed): *.easyeval.io

Payments (Stripe): js.stripe.com, checkout.stripe.com, api.stripe.com

If your filter supports category overrides, classify EasyEval as “Education / Teacher Tools” or “Business / Admin Software.”

EasyEval runs AI processing on our servers. Schools do not need to allowlist AI provider domains for end users.

Practical steps for school IT

  1. Identify the blocker. A block page usually indicates a web filter (Lightspeed, Securly, GoGuardian, Cisco Umbrella). A spinner or timeouts can indicate firewall or DNS rules. If login or embedded content fails, it often means a third-party domain is blocked.
  2. Allowlist by domain. Most districts allowlist domains or wildcards, not single URLs. HTTPS (TCP 443) is sufficient.
  3. Avoid IP allowlists. Modern SaaS and CDNs rotate IPs frequently, which causes outages if IPs are pinned.
  4. Reason for access. EasyEval is an instructional evaluation platform used by school leaders and administrators (not students).

Quick test checklist

  • Home page loads on the school network.
  • Login works (email magic link or SSO, if enabled).
  • Create/save an observation (tests API + database).
  • Open billing/checkout (Stripe).
